Floriculture ID Flower of the Day Bell Ringer

This package contains 3 items.
1.) 128 Slide Powerpoint.

This contains information on the flower including pictures of flower, common/scientific name, flower type (line, form, filler, and mass). Colors the flower can come in, and expected life of flower (after cut). There are 126 flowers covered.

2.) Flower of the Day bell ringer worksheet.

This contains a 5 day worksheet of fill in the blanks that correspond to the information in the powerpoint slides.

3.) Flower of the Day Paper instructions.

This contains instructions for students to type a paper that corresponds with a flower of the day.

I have used this in my classroom as a bell ringer to horticulture/floriculture classes. Students come in and immediately know that there is a slide on the board that contains the information of a new flower. Once or twice a month we would go to the computer lab and the students would type a paper on any of the flowers we had previously covered. This also doubles as a flower id powerpoint for the FFA Floriculture/Horticulture contest and can aide in the creation of floral designs.
