Five-day Rounding Unit for 2nd Grade - Editable

This is a five-day rounding unit aligned to Virginia Standard of Learning (SOL) 2.1b: The student will round two-digit numbers to the nearest ten.

The unit is designed to be used with a math notebook, and each page will fit perfectly on a composition notebook page. This unit includes five note pages to introduce the day's lesson, five independent morning work pages based on the previous day's lesson, and five homework pages.

This unit does not use the "rounding roller coaster" or other rounding "tricks," but focuses on using a hundreds chart and number line to help students understand what it means to round a number.

The morning work and homework pages also include multiple choice questions.
