This growing bundle has everything you need to teach a mini unit on the Five Major World Religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity.

The Video Viewing Guide:

This viewing guide follows along with the TEDed video called "The Five Major World Religions." The questions ask students to analyze the information in the video along with the Themes of History including geography, culture, economics, government, belief systems, and science and technology.

This is a higher-level thinking assignments perfect for enrichment in the middle grades, and grade-level analysis at the high school level.

The Readings:

This resource comes with a one-page article on each religion, as well as an introduction article. Each article also has a set of comprehension/critical thinking questions. Plus, I've included a sample answer key to help speed up grading!

I've also included a Google Slides version for paperless classrooms.

The Assessment:

The assessment comes with 80 questions so you can pick and choose which ones best fit your classroom needs. There are matching sections on the vocabulary for each religion, as well as multiple-choice questions for each.

The Project:

This student choice project bundle contains assignment sheets, research/citation tutorials and practice, and rubrics for each project type.

This bundle is perfect for secondary classrooms. I personally used it with my sixth graders (advanced section), but it would make a great addition to a high school unit as well.
