Formal Lesson Plan this is GREAT for observations! Good for grades 6/7-12.
Number of Students: Lesson: of Block: Lesson Time: 50 minutes
Unit Goal: By the end of the semester, students will have created a weekly fitness plan that meets their individual needs based on criteria learned in class.
Goals / Objectives of the lesson:
Students will use the FITT principle to designate specific cardio and muscular exercises to work on for the semester.
Students will correctly list the acronym meaning for FITT
Lesson breakdown: After students are changed, students will enter the weight room where they go into google classroom.
Student Objective: You will use the FITT principle to develop a fitness plan.
Checking for understanding: Students will previously review FITT . They also will reflect on their fitness plans that they have with them for the semester. Furthermore, a “thermometer” will be formatively used during class of a thumbs up/down to check for understanding.
