First week of school- Speaking- Show and tell!

This is a show and tell assignment I like to give my level 2 and 3 students during the first days of school. It's a great way to have them talk after the long summer vacation. I usually have the students sit in a circle as they share with the class. It is a low anxiety assignment, and the kids really enjoy doing it because they get to talk about themselves! I even do one so they get to know me better. I give extra credit points if they are able to ask questions in the target language about their classmates' presentations. This can be easily applied to other languages as I also do it in my Spanish classes!
