In this book students may also record what they have learned about Thanksgiving on one of the options of the book covers.

This Product also includes sight word activities that will further your students learning. Students will trace multiple sight words throughout the text to help them with their application of the sight words. Students will also be able to further work on their handwriting by being able to trace multiple greetings and other words in the text. There is a second version to not have traceable sight words.

An additional activity is provided where students will compare and contrast the similarities and differences between the Wampanoags and Pilgrims. This will help students see how even if they were different, there were still things in common that allowed them to help one another. It also can be used as an additional literacy center activity.

To further explore the culture of the Pilgrims and Wampanoags there is a step by step craft activity that relates to a traditional Pilgrim clothing item - a hat. There is also an additional craft about the Wampanoag Water Drum, where students will create their own drum.

These activity will help students use their creativity and knowledge to further understand what they have learned about the Wampanoag and Pilgrim people.

This fun and exciting Thanksgiving activity culture study can be used in so many different ways including: small group centers, multiple day culture study, geography lessons and Thanksgiving themed studies.
