Do you want more no-prep reading passages? This is a non-fiction reading passage for middle school or high school that includes critical thinking questions about the fictionalized and true histories of Thanksgiving. As I create reading passage sets, I make sure that I focus on key literacy skills while leveraging historical content. I also ensure that I am asking students to analyze and apply the information from the text. This is perfect for distance learning or can be used for face to face as well as hybrid/blended learning.

This product includes:

  • Reading passage about the history of Thanksgiving
  • Critical thinking questions
  • Vocabulary task using context clues
  • Compare and contrast
