First Grade Math Unit 8: Balancing Equations, Choosing an Operation, and more!

Each of the 4 concepts in this unit comes with (at least):

- FOUR differentiated practice worksheets (2 on level, 1 below level, 1 above level) - each worksheet has a star with a letter inside it in the corner for you to easily identify its level when organizing/copying

- A fun cut and paste activity worksheet

- An "I Can" student friendly poster and a "Students will be able to" poster

- A fun and hands-on math station that includes all materials, a student-friendly directions page, and a recording sheet. Some concepts may also come with a teacher directions sheet for differentiation directions/tips or an extra set for extra practice.

So multiply that by 4 concepts and that is what you will get! :)

At the end of the unit, there is a unit test that covers all of the concepts. I included 3 versions of the test so you can easily retest and/or give different tests to students to avoid copying.
