    Description

    Grab this end of the year math review bundle for 1st grade with games and daily google slide activities that will keep your kids engaged during the last week of school. Your students will love the team math competition where they can earn gold medals while reviewing key math concepts. There are 10 math games total including an interactive math game show for PowerPoint. Need quick, no prep review? The two weeks of daily math review are great for morning work or as a whole class review before starting your lesson for the day. These interactive Google slides cover key standards such as place value, addition, subtraction, geometry, and telling time.

    What's Included:

    1. Math Review Google Slides- 10 days of math review. Each day has 6 slides of math review questions with 2-6 questions on each slide. The topics covered each day are:

    • Addition or Subtraction within 20
    • Place Value (identifying tens/ones, building numbers, comparing numbers)
    • Counting to 120 (up and back by 1s and 10s)
    • Addition and subtraction concepts (fact families, +/-10, 2-digit without regrouping)
    • Measurement or Telling Time (hour and half hour)
    • Geometry (2D/3D shapes and halves & fourths)

    2. Team Math Competition - 10 events where teams compete to earn gold medals

    • Event 1: Place Value Puzzle- match standard form, word form, & tens and ones.
    • Event 2: Math Fact Faceoff - head to head math fact game
    • Event 3: Comparing Numbers Relay Task Card Game
    • Event 4: Caterpillar Challenge Dice Game
    • Event 5: Game Show (powerpoint included in zip file)
    • Event 6: SNAKE Addition Game
    • Event 7: Crazy Clock Relay (relay game matching analog clocks to the correct time for the hour and half hour).
    • Event 8: Sum Showdown
    • Event 9: Shape Up Game (teams create shapes with their bodies as quickly as possible).
    • Event 10: Mystery Number - guess the number based on the clues

    Compare two two-digit numbers based on meanings of the tens and ones digits, recording the results of comparisons with the symbols >, =, and <.
    Add within 100, including adding a two-digit number and a one-digit number, and adding a two-digit number and a multiple of 10, using concrete models or drawings and strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction; relate the strategy to a written method and explain the reasoning used. Understand that in adding two-digit numbers, one adds tens and tens, ones and ones; and sometimes it is necessary to compose a ten.
