First Grade Addition Flash Cards-Math Fact Fluency Within 10- Answers on Back

Help your first graders with their addition math fact fluency within 10 by using these flash cards and student record forms.

These are personal-size flash cards that are good for individual or small-group use. The flashcards are aligned to Common Core standards and focus on addition facts within 10. Answer keys are included that may be printed on the back sides of the cards.

This file also includes class record forms for the teacher to keep track of student progress in mastering each set of addition facts. A weekly practice record form is also included to promote and record practice of addition facts at home.

This addition flashcard packet utilizes the following progression to learn the addition facts within 10:

1. Add 0

2. Add 1

3. Related Facts: Add 0 and 1 (By teaching students to flip the addends so the highest addend is first, and then to count on from the highest addend, they will recognize they have already learned these related facts, and the amount of addition facts they need to memorize is greatly reduced!)

4. Add 2

5. Related Facts: Add 2

6. Addition Doubles (Options are included to master doubles within 10 or doubles within 20.)

7. Doubles +1

8. Related Facts: Doubles +1

9. Add 3 and 4

10. Related Facts: Add 3 and 4
