Description
This is a reading comprehension resource that includes both print and digital version for the blended classroom. It helps student learn to answer text based questions while building fluency through repeated reading.
Each slide/page includes a short story in a large, easy-to-read font, followed by three text-based comprehension questions. Two are multiple choice and the third is open response. In the digital version, multiple choice questions have moveable pieces for students to indicate their answer. Open response items have text boxes already inserted for student to type in.
Students are prompted to read each passage three times and either color or "stamp" the page with a smiley face (moveable piece) each time they read. This helps build fluency.
Includes 15 different passages.
The printable PDF file includes two versions of each story:
- Version A - Includes space for parent initials to use as homework
- Version B - Includes space for a score/grade to use as classwork or assessment
