This product includes everything you need to create an engaging Scavenger Hunt to use on the first day of class. With this product, you will communicate important information effortlessly - without having to say a word!

While a scavenger hunt is a great way to break the ice on the first day, the best part about *this* Scavenger Hunt is that it will answer all of those redundant questions we get so tired of answering: “Where is the pencil sharpener? How do I turn in homework?” etc. Instead of answering verbally, the hunt teaches students to find their own answers without to ask you.
Use the 25 slide Instructions for Use to walk you through the steps to create a truly awesome activity. You will brainstorm about what information is important to communicate, and learn how to write engaging questions that make this activity fun and captivating. I use this as an icebreaker before going over my Syllabus, which goes a lot smoother since the Scavenger Hunt has already introduced the students to much of the information.
Plan on this activity taking about 10-20 minutes. Depending on how long your class period is, you can stretch or compress this activity to fit your needs.
