What educators are saying

Excellent activity for the first day of school. My students were engaged while reviewing what they know about the periodic table. I love that the kids were able to work together on a low stress activity.

Description

Chemistry Activity for the First Day of School: Practice using the periodic table and learning lab equipments with this fun collaborative activity. Students are given a puzzle piece and must find their teammate with the missing pieces. They will color the spaces. Once all four pieces are complete and assembled, a picture of a lab equipment is revealed. In the puzzle, there are a few numbers representing the atomic numbers. Students will unscramble the correlating atomic symbols to reveal a positive word. Display the beautiful artwork in your classroom. This is a great collaboration to introduce lab equipment and have students using the periodic table.

Includes 9 puzzles (36 puzzle pieces). Directions and answer key provided.
