What educators are saying

My students were very engaged in these activities. We have the hand saying hanging up in the classroom.

Description

Anxiety can come from feelings of worry, fear, or anxiousness. Although these feelings are quite common and can sometimes help protect us; they can also grow BIGGER and become too overwhelming for us to handle. When these feelings turn into anxiety; it can prevent us from reaching our full potential.

Based upon Diane Alber’s book, “A Little Spot of Anxiety”, the "Finding Your Peaceful Spot!" resource further addresses various anxiety provoking situations and the effects upon the body and mind. "Finding Your Peaceful Spot!" offers opportunities for class discussion, self reflection of personal coping strategies, and the practice and reinforcement of healthy coping skills.
