Description
This Made-for-Easel Activity teaches kids about finding multiple themes. First, kids learn through direct instruction and modeling. Then they read "The Fox and the Crow" and list elements on a graphic organizer. From there, they explain how each character's actions affected the outcome. Finally, they find themes. If desired, students can also construct responses.
This module is the final piece in a three-part bundle which scaffolds student understanding. In the first activity, kids learn about story parts, and in the second, they summarize.
