What educators are saying

I loved using these for Financial Literacy. Addressed some things that were not covered in the unit I used.
These are the best go to pages! I love that they are simple enough to be used as independent skill practice!

Description

This worksheet package is all about learning and practicing financial literacy, covering a wide range of exercises to help students practice and reinforce their understanding of personal finance concepts. The package includes 40 pages of differentiated practices aimed at helping students understand various aspects of personal finance, such as Barter and Money, Goods and Services, Spending and Saving, Wants and Needs, and Charity.

The special feature of this package is that it provides multiple styles of practice, such as matching, coloring, writing, circling, and more. Students can match finance words with their definitions, sort pictures according to the correct finances, write and think about the appropriate types of finance for different objects, and more

Here are some activities that you will find:

Barter and Money:

  • Categorize the different items as part of the Barter or Money system
  • Determine whether a given transaction is part of the Barter or Money system
  • Circle "Yes" if you have enough money to buy a specific item

Goods and Services:

  • Identify whether the given item is a good or a service
  • Cut and paste the items into the correct category

Spending and Saving:

  • Sort different actions into categories of spending or saving.
  • Decide whether to spend or save for each question.
  • ….

Wants and Needs:

  • Identify which images represent needs and which represent wants.
  • Explain why each picture is a need or a want in our community.

Charity:

  • Identify actions that involve charity
  • List positive results that come from charitable actions
  • Identify items that can be donated or ways to raise money for charity

These financial literacy exercises are highly engaging and interesting for students. They can be used as a guide for practice, independent practice, morning work, or homework.

They require no prep - just print and go!
