Description

Great for a fun, creative review activity that can be leveled to meet the needs of your students!

This product is designed to accompany an activity where students make their own creative posters using an expression or saying that demonstrates a specific type of figurative language. You could assign the phrases, or limit your students to specific types of figurative language such as similes or metaphors depending on your needs.

Students' posters are then numbered and hung around the classroom for a gallery walk. Students use the recording sheet to keep track of their peers' posters and guess what type of figurative language is being displayed. There is also a section for students to keep track of their favorite posters in certain categories if you'd like to add a competitive element to this activity!

Stay tuned for the student directions sheet and poster rubric coming soon!
