Description

UPDATED AUG. 2020

What you will find?

  1. Posters for simile, metaphor, personification and onomatopoeia, hyperbole and alliteration along with examples for each.
  2. 70 task cards that have been sectioned off in order to cover 2 at a time. The first 20 cards include similes and metaphors only. The next twenty will have added personification and onomatopoeia. The final will include all. I have created the task cards as open ended questions in order to have the students identify the figurative language used and explain their answer. This is especially important for metaphors since they will have to identify what is being compared. Answers keys have been provided. Some task cards have more than one answer and have been notated in the Answer Document.
  3. There are 7 Exit Tickets total (or demonstration of learning handouts) with 10 sentences each.

*Note: Digital version will be coming soon!!
