Description

This activity is designed to inspire and guide young writers through the process of crafting captivating fictional stories. With learning pages and writing templates, this activity transforms the writing experience into an exciting adventure of plot twists, character development, and imaginative exploration.

This resource includes teaching slides to introduce students to the concepts of writing a fictional narrative. Brief teaching slides for narrative concepts includes: Characters, Setting, Plot, Problem and Solution, Dialogue, The Five Senses, Beginning Hook, Elaborate Detail (Adjectives) and the Ending of a narrative.

The Fictional Narrative Project includes two graphic organizers, and slide templates for creating a title page, beginning, middle, the end, and an “about the author” page. Success Criteria and an assessment page is also included.
