Description
Reviewing the elements of fiction and nonfiction with a digital breakout game will be a hit with your students! The five interactive games are a fun way for your students to practice this skill and they are ready to assign in Google and Seesaw.
You will not need any physical locks or boxes for this breakout. As students complete each digital activity, they discover a code. They should write the codes as they go along. When they finish the games, they'll enter all the codes on a Google form. If all the codes are entered correctly, a message will tell them they have "escaped."
Here's what you'll get:
- Five ocean-themed digital activities
- Teacher directions
- Answer key
- Google links
Your students will love the games and discovering codes. You will love the ease of assigning the breakout and the Google form for checking answers.
The activities include:
- Fill in the blank (there's a word bank)
- A directional puzzle
- An online memory-matching game
- An online jigsaw puzzle
- An eye chart with a true or false message
This is a great tool for elementary librarians as well as classroom teachers.
CLASSROOM TEACHERS AND LIBRARIANS SAID...
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We just finished our review of fiction vs. nonfiction in my library (on several grade levels). I always like to have a fun activity to conclude a unit. Kids love escape rooms. I have not tried digital breakouts yet, but I know there will be enthusiastic participation! (Just have to try breaking out myself first, LOL)! Thanks!

My third graders loved this. It really helped those kids who like to rush learn to slow down and read ALL of the clues!
