What educators are saying

I loved how many choices that there were in this pack. I also enjoyed that labels of emotions were not listed as we could then also have conversations of how someone might be feeling.
This resources saved time sourcing pictures that were relatable to my students. We were able to view a diverse range of people and ages to discuss predominately facial features associated with feelings.

Description

Teach how to recognize emotions, feelings, and body language with this set of 200 different photos. This is an excellent resource and can be used in countless ways. These cards are all up-close photos of children's faces experiencing different emotions.

Laminate these cards and then use them to begin discussions about identifying emotions, feelings, thoughts, and behaviors with your children, students, or patients. Print and laminate the small set and store on a book ring for individual use or in a calming corner.

These work well with students who have special needs and need to develop the social skills to identify how others are thinking and reacting. Study the facial expressions, muscles, body language, and clues in their surroundings. They work wonderfully for children as they verbally practice how to describe and think about other people. They can begin great conversations about compassion, empathy, sympathy, kindness, understanding, and forgiveness. They may provide a window into a child's own emotions as they describe the feelings and possible situation of the children they see in the pictures. These cards can be used as tools in behavior management or even simply as writing prompts. I feel passionately about these cards, as one of my own child has needed resources such as this and I've worked with many special needs students who have benefited from these sorts of activities.

When printed full-size, the cards will be 9x9". The photos are square with a neutral frame. No words, questions, or descriptions so that the use is left open to your personal need. These cards all have photos of children ranging from babies to teenagers but mostly of ages 4-10. I've tried to include a variety of racial backgrounds, genders, etc. Emotions included are sadness, happiness, anger, frustration, fear, grief, loneliness, and many more. They are loosely organized by age so its easier to print certain age groups if desired.

What You Get:

  • 200 9x9 photo cards
  • A smaller set of the same photo cards.
