Description

When ever I launch a new writing unit I always have my student's analyze a mentor text while using a rubric.Allowing feedback gives student's a chance to find and understand what is expected in the upcoming writing unit.

This resource includes:

  • 5 Mentor Texts for Literary Essays
  • 5 Feedback sheets for each Mentor Text with question prompts

Use for independent work, partner work, small group, or whole group.

Student's can highlight label what they have found in each essay.
