Federalists vs. Anti-Federalists Who's Who Document Based Questions
- Zip
Description
This DBQ is a supplement to help students differentiate between Federalist and Anti-Federalist ideals. In the activity, students will read short biographies of six founding fathers. Based on the information provided in the biographies and their prior knowledge of Federalist and Anti-Federalist principles, students will determine which group the founding father belonged to. They will also provide details from the biography supporting their choice. In the second part of the activity, students will answer several comprehension (DOK 3) questions from the document. This is a perfect no-prep resource that allows for partner or individual reading and teaches students to support their answers with evidence from a text. It works great with a unit on the Constitution and/or early American government. An answer key is provided.
