Description
Students will be able to understand the Federal System of Government in this engaging and creative activity. Includes both printable and digital versions.
Students will begin by reviewing the major concepts of Federalism while taking notes on the graphic organizer template. Powers reviewed include Delegated Powers (Expressed, Implied, Inherent), Reserved Powers, Concurrent Powers, and Denied Powers.
Students will then complete a Venn Diagram comparing and contrasting the powers of the federal and state governments. To assess their knowledge they will then play a fun review game, “Who Has the Power?”.
