Favorite Characters Song

This song celebrates reading and features the names of some popular book characters. More than that, it is a great resource to use for fluency practice. Or, if you're working on syllables, each line of each verse follows a pattern of one, two, three, then four syllables (Bone, Babar, Abuela, Bunnicula). You might also use the song for classroom transitions. I have been incorporating music into literacy lessons for years. In fact, I will write a song made to order about anything you are reading or teaching in your classroom!
