Fashion Design: Design Your Own T-Shirt Lesson and Blank Template

Explore the career of Fashion Design and give students the opportunity to be fashion designersin creating their own t-shirts using the Design Cycle. The easy to use and printable Word document provides a blank front and back t-shirt template for students to create and design their own custom t-shirts. Questions are included to encourage students to consider the purpose and audience of their shirts, as well as the colors and design. The templates take up the majority of the page, giving students lots of room to design and create.
This is the planning document for students to come up with ideas of what they would like to put on their t-shirt. The students will then create their t-shirts online where they can use the website's graphics and text or import their own graphics, text, and pictures.
Also included are the instructions and suggestions for the project implementation. My students loved this project/lesson and I have done this lesson at several schools and the t-shirt designs are always very creative and turn out amazing.
