Farm Vocabulary Around the Room

I have created 3 sets of Farm Vocabulary Words (14 words in each).

1. Black and white. They have blank spaces for words, so you can fill in the vocabulary words you want. Spanish, English, easier/difficult (vegetables vs. produce), etc.

2. Colorful with blank spaces.

3. Colorful with words typed on them.

These sets also include a printable where your students may record the vocabulary words down for themselves. You can use this worksheet for writing around the room, a scavenger hunt, writing center, creating a class book, etc.

I use this activity to introduce my farm unit. I will post these around the room. Then I ask students to go around the room and look for the clues I have left them for our new unit we will study. They need to record their findings. When we return we will at the clues and discuss what they infer our new unit will be about.
