Description

Farm Close Reading, Farm Non Fiction Passages, Writing, Interactive Notebook

I've been working on this project for several months. This packet is the first in a series of Farm themed resources for my new "Once Upon a Barnyard" line. Enjoy.

This original Farm Close Read collection features:

• 7 Informational Text passages for each animal:
Chickens
Cow
Goat
Horse
Donkey
Pig
Sheep

Each informational (non-fiction) text passage includes real life photographs of the animals.

• Each passage is accompanied by a question sheet with 3 questions which can be answered from the passage. I also included a blank question sheet for flexibility.

• Farm Animal Fact Sheet (Students fill in the information)
• (For each animal) Know - Want to Know - Learned Sheet
• (For each animal) Can - Have - Are Sheet
• Writing Sheet
• Barn Flip Flap Writing Activity (Includes Barn Flip Flap Template, instructions w/ photos)
• Barn Writing Sheet
• 18 Farm Real Life Photo Cards (with words)
