These are just a few of the remarkable accomplishments that historians not to mention people across the United States celebrate. What “Famous Firsts” will American women achieve next?

They are creative, hands-on, allow students to express themselves while they learn and best of all they are fun! If you love creativity you will love this differentiated learning activity.
Each sketch note has been produced thoughtfully, painstakingly and has been given more many hours of thought and preparation. You can assign sketch notes for homework or classwork. It takes the average student about 30 min to complete this assignment correctly.
Print a copy of the graphic organizer for each student and they are off and learning! For the super creative you can have students upload to their favorite note-taking application (notability, Microsoft One Note, etc.) and students are creating 21st century digitally artistic content.
