Description
At least in the state of Texas, we have an objective (TEK) that we have to hit in Culinary Arts 1 that is understanding where modern cooking came from including the famous chefs that made it that way. So I always do a famous chef project (usually at the very beginning of second semester when they get back from break). In this project the students have a choice of making a poster, website or scrapbook of the famous chef they choose.
Included in this project is:
-A PDF of the Famous Chef Project Guidelines and grading rubric
-An editable word document of the Famous Chef Project guidelines and grading rubric
-A PDF of the Famous Chef Sign Up List (68 total chefs to choose from)
-An editable excel spreadsheet of the Famous Chef Sign Up List (so you can add more if you wanted
-Examples of the Famous Chef Quizzes I compile for after the project
