Fall Celebrations - Digital Lesson plan bundle for Spanish classes

This bundle includes Digital and Hybrid resources for Hispanic Heritage Month and Día de Muertos.

What is included?

• Qué es el Mes de la Herencia Hispana: Several DIGITAL resources to explore the meaning and history of Hispanic Heritage Month with students through a simple reading and two Authentic Resource (#authres) based activities for Levels 1-2 Spanish.
• Hispanic Heritage Month: 21 biographies: A Digital resource featuring 21 biographies of public figures in the US that are of Hispanic origin. Each biography describes the name, profession, and nationality/ethnicity of the subject and appears on a Slide along with 3-4 True/False statements, all written in Spanish.
• El Día de Muertos (Level 1): 4 days of 45+ minute instruction with lessons and materials for Online Classes, In Person Classes, and Hybrid Classes on the topics: ¿Qué es el Día de Muertos?, El altar de muertos, Las calaveras y las calacas, La flor de cempasúchil, Los alebrijes, Las mariposas monarca
• El Día de Muertos (Level 2): 5 days of 45+ minute instruction with lessons and materials for Online Classes, In Person Classes, and Hybrid Classes on the topics: ¿Qué es el Día de Muertos?, La Catrina, La leyenda de la flor de cempasúchil, Los alebrijes, Las mariposas monarca y el Día de Muertos
• El Día de Muertos: Las calaveras de chilacayote (Printable + Digital): Two versions of a reading (Novice High, Intermediate Low) about the calaveras de chilacayote, along with 1-page of comprehension activities to accompany each text. Each text + activity is provided as both a PRINTABLE PDF and DIGITAL GOOGLE SLIDES™ resource.
• El Día de Muertos: Los alebrijes de la Ciudad de México (Printable + Digital): Two versions of a reading (Novice High, Intermediate Low) about alebrijes, along with 1-page of comprehension activities to accompany each text. Each text + activity is provided as both a PRINTABLE PDF and DIGITAL GOOGLE SLIDES™ resource.
• El Festival de los barriletes gigantes (3 scaffolded readings in Spanish): THREE different readings, at three different levels of text complexity are provided (Novice, Intermediate, Advanced). Each level of the article is accompanied by a one-page, simple reading comprehension activity (3 activities total). Each text + activity is provided as both a PRINTABLE PDF and DIGITAL GOOGLE SLIDES™ resource.
