Fairytales the most commonly shared stories across cultures and centuries. In this one week mini-unit, students will learn about the structure of a fairytale, participate in read-aloud story-time, read cross-cultural versions of a beloved classic (Cinderella), and reflect on the way cultural values appear in the stories people share. They will also create and share their very own fairytale in a student showcase!
