Peter's Problem is a lovely one act play script for younger performers. Peter is being bullied and he seeks the advice of the animals in the magic forest - but they all tell him something different! Then the Wise Old Owl helps Peter to make up his mind. This play provides great opportunities to include less confident children in a number of animal roles. It looks really effective but is simple to stage and is perfect for an end of semester/term/year production. This stage script also offers important opportunities to discuss the issue of bullying, to share feelings and to relate stories of how bullies have been overcome. This is a great play for young actors and those taking part in their first theatre experience and it's perfect for large groups, or as a joint project for several classes.
This script includes fabulous full production notes, with ideas for staging, props and furniture, lighting, sound effects, any music and costumes - including great ideas for all of the animal costumes! It also contains great follow-on activities covering story, characters, theme, script layout and performance-related tasks for further work in the classroom or drama studio.
If you are giving a performance of this musical to an audience, regardless of whether you charge admission or not, you must purchase the appropriate Performance Rights License, available in this store.
