This resource can be used for many things throughout the year, but my favorite use is as a cheat sheet during a unit on factoring quadratic trinomials. I have found this to be an invaluable resource during this unit and it really helps emerging learners in Algebra 1 or even in Algebra 2. While factoring quadratic trinomials, students must often find a pair of numbers that add to one number while multiplying to another. Students can use this factor pair chart to quickly look at all factors of the "multiply" number and find the winning combo that also adds to the correct number.
