Special Education Resource FUNCTIONAL VOCABULARY Color Cut and Glue FINE MOTOR

This 100 set of interactive fine motor and functional words vocabulary color, cut, and glue worksheets, are perfect for any age! A cover is included for your students to glue onto a folded piece of construction paper. Add some plain white paper inside (as many pages as you would like, perhaps 20 for each month) and your students will glue the pieces together to form the picture! This is a wonderful activity to implement at your Writing or Fine Motor Skills classroom centers. It provides the student with the opportunity to practice both fine motor skills and vocabulary!

Pictures and IEP Goal are included with this activity for simple set up and to align with your student’s IEP Goals.

SUGGESTED IEP GOALS:

FINE MOTOR: Given a picture to color, STUDENT will use appropriate colors out of a choice of eight crayons, using applied pressure and grasp, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.

Given a picture to cut along a combination of vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines, STUDENT will cut along the dashed (dotted) line by holding the paper in the _____(left/right hand) and cutting the paper using the dominant ______(left/right hand), and glue the pieces in order to complete the picture (put it back together), with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.

VOCABULARY: Given a picture to color, cut, and glue, which represents a vocabulary word related to a life skill or functional object, STUDENT will complete the picture and provide at least one detail in a sentence (in writing or verbally), with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.

INDEPENDENT FUNCTIONING: Given a color, cut, and glue work task to complete using a set of familiar directions for a pre-taught activity, STUDENT will complete the task within an allotted amount of time, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
