Description

This is an informal screener meant to quickly assess a child’s use of the 14 early developing grammatical morphemes. This is not a standardized tool; it is simply designed to provide you with a baseline measure of a child’s grasp of these early developing morphological structures.

Use the tracking form on page 3 to mark whether the child demonstrated appropriate usage of the morpheme or if more information is needed. The answer key is provided on page 4. Pages 5-18 include the 14 grammatical morphemes (1 per page). The box on the left side contains a visual and verbal example of the targeted morpheme. The boxes on the right contain the prompts for the child to respond to.

Please note: This is meant to be used to gather information only! For more information regarding these morphemes, please visit HERE
