This is a mini bundle that pairs well with a taco themed read aloud, but could also be used as a stand-alone activity, or worked into an informational/how-to writing unit. This is not an entire unit on it's own. Please see the previews to know what is included. It's a great activity to do during the week of Cinco de Mayo!
I recommend pairing this with a read aloud and using it as a 4-5 day writing lesson where students brainstorm, plan, draft, revise, edit, and publish their writing.
It would be so much fun to end the week with a taco bar/fiesta to allow students to celebrate and share their writing pieces! :)
