Description

Give your students a bit of solve-and-color math fun for Groundhog Day! Here’s one page for mixed multiplication facts and one for mixed division facts, giving students an engaging way to review two kinds of facts. (CCSS 3.OA.B.6 and 3.OA.C.7) Children solve the problems, then color by code to show their answers. The images are the same for each page, but the coloring code is different. An answer key for each page is included. Easy prep for you, maximum engagement for your students! Perfect for independent work on Groundhog Day in Grades 3, 4, and 5!

This easy-prep resource includes:

1 Solve and Color worksheet for mixed multiplication facts through 10 x 10

1 Solve and Color worksheet for mixed division facts within 100

Answer key (in reduced size-format to save colored ink!)

Understand division as an unknown-factor problem. For example, find 32 ÷ 8 by finding the number that makes 32 when multiplied by 8.
Fluently multiply and divide within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division (e.g., knowing that 8 × 5 = 40, one knows 40 ÷ 5 = 8) or properties of operations. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.
