3. 5 Pyramid Sentences to Practice Fluency

• Same sentences are presented in a plain text, without much visual support, to assess skills and provide fluency practice.
  
• Two versions are provided = one with final blends highlighted in red and one without any highlighting to provide differentiation options.

4. Blank Sentence Strips For Your Own Word Lists

• 5 blank sentence strips are provided to allow customization for various word lists
  
• Use with your curriculum to customize these activities to fit the skills you are teaching and offer differentiation

Words Included

Care has been taken to include words that follow a short vowel pattern.

Due to various curricula teaching different skills in different patterns, words with digraphs or vowel teams are not used here for ease of teaching.

The sentences contain some easy high-frequency words (the, you, has, have) along with other fully decodable words (can, get, mom).

The -SP blend words included for decoding, encoding, and fluency practice are:
