What educators are saying

Thanks for sharing this adorable resource. My students loved this art project and they turned out so awesome.
My students' portraits have become more dynamic with a variety of expressions and hairstyles. It is simple enough for my lower grades to understand and use independently. I appreciate the effort put forth to create this reference.

Description

This fun & intentionally simple drawing visual will help your students learn how to draw a variety of emotions and expressions that can be used in a variety of ways in their artwork. Whether it's adding more life to a simple smiley face, or helping students develop their own cartoon characters/ illustrations, or helping add more personality to a self portrait. The style of this drawing guide is drawn with young artists in mind (k-3) but can certainly be used by students older.

Here's what buyers are saying about this resource:

***** Extremely satisfied - Emma O.

What a great resource. I gave each children a copy for their folder and I would say they definitely use it at least once a week. They love having a reference to show different facial expressions. It’s made some children well struggled to draw much more confident. Thank you

***** Extremely satisfied - Alison G.

I bought this to use with myself and my own children, but would be so easy and fun to use in the classroom as well! Great ideas and easy to follow.

***** Extremely satisfied - Makayla O.

My students are in a self contained special education classroom from 3rd-6th grade and we use this guide to do self portraits every year. We use this resource along with the k-2 portrait guide from Mrs. E as well! It is so fun to see the growth in them over the years and they love taking pictures with their current and past portraits. Love this resource and anything from Mrs. E!
