This file has summary of the grammar with examples, time expressions and three exercises for students and learners to practice one of the most difficult topics in Chinese: Expressing duration of action. My students had problems with understanding the pattern of the sentences and use of particle 的 with the time duration expressions in verb+direct object sentences. This material was created for explanation grammar in English terms, for showing some examples and practice of learned vocabulary in the past. Answer keys are included.
