Description

Looking for a fun, new way for students to practice Exponent Rules? Check out this editable and engaging Laws of Exponents review activity. ( 8.EE.A.1 ) ( 9.B2.2 ). Topics include simplifying expressions with product rule, quotient rule and power to the power rules. In this math review game, students draw a card from a deck of playing cards and answer the corresponding question from the 48 question booklet. Partners or individual can be used.

How it works:

Students draw a card from a deck of cards, then answer the corresponding question in the provided question booklet. Students answer the question on the provided answer sheet, then check with the answer key. Jacks are BONUS, adds to the fun! This could be used as a partner activity, or individual activity. There are 48 questions in all, separated into 4 categories:

♦ 12 questions: Combination Questions Express as a Single Power

♠ 12 questions: Power to the Power Questions

♣ 12 questions: Combination Questions
