Description

Click around this Google Maps webquest to explore landmarks in the United States Capital city. The included hyperdoc contains links to interactive 360 degree views inside Google Maps for 10 popular DC landmarks. The student sheet also contains a short paragraph discussing each site, as well as 11 questions (open ended, multiple choice, and TEI - type).

Included landmarks:
The White House (inside), Washington Monument, National Mall, Capitol Building, Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, WWII Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Smithsonian Air and Space Museum (inside), Natural History Museum (inside).

An answer key is included.

Each link uses Google Maps street view to drop students into a 360 degree view of a rock formation.
