Expanding Utterances Pictures Verb Phrases Interactive Books Increase MLU Set 2

In order to expand utterances beyond one word, children move in a natural progression, whose logical next step is to use two-word & three-word phrases. We know that there are certain phrases that typical children tend to use first. Students will form location+noun, noun+location+object and shape+noun phrases using visual symbols with this set of three engaging interactive books to help increase MLU! They are perfect for those with autism spectrum disorder or early communicators.

The books use simple, familiar vocabulary to get your students combining adjectives, nouns, prepositions, and direct objects to formulate a variety of new phrases. Expand your students' MLU in a fun and functional way using common vocabulary in a fun interactive book. One adjective+noun book has students use shape words and simple nouns to describe and differentiate objects. (E.g. It's not just a pizza and it's not just a square. It's a "square pizza" a "diamond pizza" or a "square doughnut".)
