Welcome to the mini unit designed to empower students with the critical thinking skills needed to make healthy living choices!
In these activities, students will discern the truth behind claims made about the 'miracle drug' Revitalisol - a medication that replicates the benefits of physical activity without you having to actually be active. With Revitalisol approaching FDA approval, your students will be tasked with reading an article that looks into its health claims and then wrestling with their own decision-making processes around health and wellbeing.
All of this leading to the big reveal: Revitalisol isn’t real!
Students are then guided through a debrief activity and have two (potentially optional) follow up activities exploring the benefits of exercise and practicing their new found myth debunking skills.
