The following is lesson is part of my executive functioning skills lesson series.
What are executive functioning skills?
Executive functioning skills are the skills you need to be a successful person. These skills involve: planning, prioritizing, time management, working memory, self-control, metacognition, attention, task initiation, and perseverance.
Students who struggle in school often have weak executive functioning skills. In order to be successful in school and in life, students who struggle need to be taught these skills explicitly. I have created an entire course and curriculum at my school based on this premise, and have students to this day come back and tell me that the “real world skills” they learned in my class, help them as adults. (Over 90% graduation rate for students who take my class)

TEACHERS LIKE YOU SAID:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "I love that this great lesson is no prep! Many of my students struggle with executive functioning and this has been a great resource for them.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "These slides are beautifully designed and well organized, plus, the additional resources are helpful. It was easy to make slight modifications to meet the needs of my AU students and adapt it for my social skills class. It was also very easy to assign the slides in google classroom so my students can follow along and add their own answers. It is often hard to find social skills lessons for high school special needs students, so I was really excited to find this resource"
