Excel Essentials

Excel Essentials covers the core skills that need to be learned to become a functional user of Excel. This unit also covers the skills that are required for competency in the MOS certification exam. There are instructional slideshows, a student workbook, editable Excel workbooks, puzzles and a quiz to consolidate proficiency. Excel Essentials is a complete unit with solutions for all activities – no teacher prep needed. It is suitable for teacher directed learning or self-paced or remote learning. All of these resources are digital for a paper free classroom. The teacher is able to print as well if necessary. Time frame (5 to 8 weeks depending on learner skill level).

Pre-requisites

Competent computer skills, experience with Microsoft applications would be desirable. No previous experience with Excel is required but would be helpful. Competent reading skills with ability to follow instructions is required for this unit. Student needs digital access to files and Internet for videos and quiz. The learner needs Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for digital completion of puzzles.
