Ethical Thinking CONUNDRUMS: Gifted and Talented K-6
A conundrum is a difficult or confusing problem, when we couple them with ethics we can come up with some really curly questions that require kids to do a lot of thinking. Learning to think in ethical/moral ways is important. For gifted and talented students these types of questions can give them the opportunity to think deeply and explore all the possibilities. Answers can be black and white or some shade of grey in between. These tasks were designed for upper primary but I have used them with younger grades as a warm-up to enrichment lessons. High school students will enjoy the scope of these challenges.
They could be easily adapted for use in an enrichment class at ETHICS/CIVICS lessons/club.
