Description

This fill-in resource page focuses on the step by step process of using compatible numbers to estimate quotients when the divisor is a two digit number. Estimating allows students to build their number sense as well as determine whether or not their answers are reasonable when working through problems. I use this resource as an interactive notebook page for their math notebooks.

A quick check I created for this concept can be found here:

Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.
