Description

These lecture slides were designed to help middle school and high school students improve the quality of their writing voices when building literary analysis essays. This product includes PDF slides that can be projected as you lead a short lecture on 11 words that rob the power from students’ writing voices. The download also includes a student handout with suggested answer key to be used as an assignment/practice round.

If you’d like to view a sample of how I present these slides to my classes, be sure to check out the teacher support video here on TpT or on my YouTube channel that shows these “Power of Words” slides and follow-up activity in action.
